Since the ecosystem of sustainable care is relatively new, it is important to get connected with as many organisations and persons as possible within the sustainable healthcare sector. We give key notes and other presentations and participate at conferences and symposiums, check out our News&Events.

Green Deal Sustainable Care
In Flanders, we actively follow and participate in the Green Deal Sustainable Care. We translate the recommendations into a practical framework to be used by hospitals. In particular, we follow the pillars ‘Materials and waste’ and ‘Medicines in water’ and provide support for the implementation of new tools and guidelines. An example is the tool now being developed to estimate the impact of medication use within hospitals on wastewater, both in terms of ecotoxicity and AMR for antibiotics.
The Circular Kickstart
Net Zero Healthcare Impact was selected for “The Circular Kickstart - Healthcare Challenge” incubator program. The Circular Kickstart is the platform for start-ups that have a positive impact on the planet and society. The Healthcare Challenge focuses specifically on start-ups doing circular business within the healthcare industry.
